REPEATER RULES:

The repeaters are privately owned but are made available for the use of GMARS members, as well as the general amateur community.  Please follow these rules so we can continue to keep these repeaters open.

EMERGENCY TRAFFIC HAS PRIORITY AT ALL TIMES

SKYWARN TRAFFIC AND SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS TAKE PRIORITY OVER ANY NON-EMERGENCY TRAFFIC

No station is to transmit DTMF tones at any time unless given prior permission by a control operator.

Be polite.

Leave space before transmitting in case others need to break in.

This is a linked system.  Please pause between keying and speaking to ensure the beginning of your transmission is not cut off.

If you wish to join a conversation in progress, you may announce your callsign in between the transmissions of the stations in QSO.  If you have an emergency, use the word "EMERGENCY" to interrupt the QSO in progress.  To avoid confusion, DO NOT use the word "break".

If there are any problems with the operation of the repeaters, or with stations using the repeaters, please contact a control operator.

REPEATER OWNERSHIP INFORMATION:

The Green Mountain Amateur Radio Society (GMARS) has been assigned the FCC callsign WX1NH. The club, through its officers and License Trustee, has allowed the WX1NH callsign to be used on various amateur radio repeaters (enumerated on the web page http://www.wx1nh.us/freq.htm). These repeaters (including all hardware, associated components, frequency coordinations, site leases, and any and all other aspects of the repeaters) are owned solely by individuals who are considered the “Owners”.  GMARS may, from time to time, provide financial support to the Owners for the maintenance of the repeaters. Neither GMARS, nor its members by virtue of their membership status, has any ownership rights to the repeaters.  GMARS is under no obligation to provide financial support to the Owners, and GMARS may rescind and revoke the permission of any or all of the Owners or their repeaters to use the WX1NH callsign.  The Owners may cease using the WX1NH callsign and cease making the repeaters available for use by GMARS at any time by their sole discretion.
